Dinner With A Prof provides BUGS members with an exclusive opportunity to meet and talk with professors one-on-one in a casual, relaxed environment. Learn more about their research and build your network while enjoying dinner with other students (or your favorite snacks!). It’s a great way to meet professors with whom you don’t have a class or just talk with your professors in a less intimidating setting. Many students have acquired lab positions and even thesis professors during tea time. Most dinner sessions are scheduled for 7pm to around 8 pm; exceptions will be noted.

Our next dinner with a prof will be held on November 13th at 6:00pm at the Wave. Come by to meet Dr. Liana Zanette, a population and behavioural ecologist who studies the biology of fear. Sign up form will be in our Instagram bio starting October 30th, first come first served. See you there!
